# Wat is RFID?

### Wat is RFID?

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is een tag (ook wel een chip genoemd) in het product. De RFID tag heeft data over het product. De RFID tag wordt gescand door het gebruik van radio frequente golven. Door de RFID tag te gebruiken kan de gebruiker automatisch de producten identificeren. De RFID tag geeft het product een unieke code zodat het niet wordt verward met een ander product die hetzelfde lijkt. Door de unieke code is het identificeren en traceren van de producten makkelijker. De gebruiker weet om welke producten het gaan en hoeveel er zijn. (Atlasrfid store.com, z.d.)
